ABOUT THE DOCTORS

Dr. A. K. Bobby Mallik

Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Dr. Mallik received his Bachelors degree from the University of South Florida. He then earned his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he also completed a certificate in Advanced Education General Dentistry.

Dr. Mallik continued his training at PENN where he was a Fellow in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and also recieved a certificate in Anesthesia.

He then went on to complete a residency in Endodontics at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry after which he received his Certificate of Specialization.

Dr. Mallik has professional memberships in the American Dental Association, the American Dental Education Association and the American Association of Endodontists. He is also a member of the North Carolina Dental Society, the Tar Heel Endodontic Association, the Durham-Orange Dental Society and the Gateway Study Club.

In his spare time Dr. Mallik enjoys working out, mountain biking, traveling, reading and playing table tennis.

Dr. I. Joel Leeb

Dr. I. Joel Leeb received his dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. He has been practicing endodontics in Durham for 17 years.

Dr. Leeb previously served as chairman and professor in the Department of Endodontics at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He is board certified, a published author and lecturer.

Dr. Leeb is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the North Carolina Dental Society, Tar Heel Endodontic Society, the Durham-Orange Dental Society and the Gateway Study Club.

In his spare time he enjoys photography, gardening and biking and is involved in community volunteer work.
